SPORTS SIGN-UP FOR 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR

 
All athletic paperwork (with the exception of a current physical already on file—see below) is required to be submitted annually. Athletic forms should be turned-in with sports sign-up.

 

Student-athletes who do not have the required paperwork submitted prior to splits or practice beginning will NOT be allowed to participate in any on-court activities until everything is submitted.

  • Athletic Fees--Track fee for 2021 is $50 Those who have credits to apply from cancelled sports earlier this year should contact Bill Serb, Athletic Director regarding payment. (once the season is confirmed checks can be made out to “Waukesha Catholic Athletics”)--send to address below

You have 2 options to return your forms:

  1. Return all completed forms & payment in a marked envelope (labeled: Bill Serb, Athletic Director) to the St. Mary's Campus (these can be returned in the weekly folder)

Sports Physicals: State law requires all student-athletes are required to have a medical exam/physical that is signed by a physician. Physicals completed after April 1st are good for the next 2 school years. Physicals prior to April 1st are good for the remainder of that school year and 1 additional year.  As such physicals dated after April 1, 2019 and on-file with the Athletic Director are still good for the coming school year.  Students who do not have a physical on file with the Athletic Director or whose physicals are dated prior to April 1, 2019 will need a new physical on file prior to any participation in sports (including splits AND practice).

Notice of Revised Waukesha Catholic Athletic Program Handbook
 
The Waukesha Catholic Athletic Board has completed a revision of the Waukesha Catholic Athletic Program Handbook which was approved by the Waukesha Catholic Board of Directors at their November 28 meeting.  The handbook can be found here and by clicking the 'Resources' tab on the athletic program's portion of our website.
 
We encourage all parents/guardians to review the handbook and become familiar with the policies of our athletic program.

 

General Information

Waukesha Catholic sponsors three sports - volleyball, basketball and track - for boys and girls in grades five through eight. Teams are separated by grade and gender. 

In the fall, Waukesha Catholic teams participate in the Metro Volleyball Conference. Over the winter, Waukesha Catholic teams participate in the Notre Dame/Don Bosco Basketball Conference. In the spring, Waukesha Catholic Track teams participate in the Waukesha Area Catholic Conference.

The Waukesha Catholic Athletic Handbook contains valuable information that will inform you about the workings of the program. It is important that parents, coaches and athletes read and understand the contents of this handbook.

Athletic Board Members

The Waukesha Catholic Athletic Association has 11 elected Athletic Board members who are elected in May and begin 2-year terms in July each year ( 5 members in 2018, 6 members in 2019).  Athletic Board members must be parents or guardians of a current Waukesha Catholic student.

Athletic Board members attend monthly meetings, assist in the operation of the athletic program, and supervise competitions hosted by Waukesha Catholic, among other duties.
